Welcome to GW!
There's a Sticky thread in the Q & A part of the forums entitled "Player on a budget..." That'll give you the pros and cons of beginning your GW experience with each of the campaigns. Most people will recommend the original (AKA -Prophecies) for people just starting out (I do), with Nightfall being not far behind. Virtually no one suggests starting out with factions. |

Then I don't believe there's any other way to get it right now, without ordering/shipped/stores.
Don't trust anyone thats just selling you the serial.......... |

I would strongly suggest that you NOT purchase a key from any player/person. I would only by from legit stores and things....don't buy it at a pawn shop or anything. Usually those keys are already used...and or banned etc.
Try looking through some of the online stores...do a search for buy guild wars and see what comes up. Alot of places don't take paypal...but you maybe able to find a place that does.... |

They are currently looking into possibly accepting Paypal in the near future, but nothing has been made final about this, to my knowledge. Your best bet would be to find a way to a store selling hard copies.
I would strongly suggest starting with Prophecies. Best (although underdeveloped) story, gentlest learning curve, and overall best game of the three. |

I don't know if they take PayPal, but if you're on a serious budget and your parents don't mind you ordering from an online store, Fry's has the best price right now on all 3 games.
Prophecies: $19.99 Factions and Nightfall: $29.99 Pre-Order GW:EN: $29.99 http://shop3.outpost.com/search?search_type=regular&sqxts=1&query_string=gu ild+wars&cat=&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 Frys.com is an excellent and reliable company. I've ordered many things from them without any problems whatsoever. Good luck and welcome to the GW community! |

I suggest buying from E-bay, as long as its a reputable seller and the game is unused, you shuld be able to get it quite cheap, and obviously use paypal on it.
I have used paypal for numerous purchases on ebay and got a few of the pre release discs from it. Good luck |

Hey, welcome to GW!
like jammerpa said, I'd go with fry's and ask your parents if they can credit card purchase it for you.(if frys doesn't take pp). Anyways I would probably go with Prophecies, although Nightfall gives you heroes & inscribable weapons. You'll also be able to earn gold a bit easier in NF. But prophecies has the best intro into the game. (slower, more paced) |

In my opinion you should start with Prophecies. Factions is paced very fast, and Nightfall has elements which you best understand when you have beaten factions and prophecies.
(Like, 2 certain people from Prophs and Factions make a certain return in NF) |

Definately buy the original. Its the longest, it has very varied environments compared to the other campaigns and IMO, it has a nice story. The tutorial area is also awesome.

Sams club has all three chapters for < $50.00 USD. I saw the bundle at my local Sams for $49.99 just a week ago. Another guild mate reported his Sams had reduced theirs down to $30.00 USD. They were originally $99.99 for all three chapters and have been reduced (probably lack of sales).
